Outside of his recreational pursuits, Lively owned a liquor store and was actively involved in local government for many years. His meticulous research skills and attention to detail were hallmarks of his professional and creative writing. Though he passed away before publishing his book, readers can now witness his vision and explore the world he imagined through his work.
